Our Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management is offered to anyone who is interested in the sub-field of Marketing in the Field of Commerce and Management irrespective of any disability, learning difficulty, record of criminal conviction, age, gender, ethnic background and parental education or contextual data. Enrolment process is fair and equitable and applies equally to all individuals.
It is aimed at those inspired individuals who want to further their careers and expand their knowledge. Students will learn Organisational Behaviour, Simulation for Business Development and more. The course is focused on ensuring our students can function within challenging business environments and are adaptable to constant change. Students will engage with global diversity in terms of cultures, ethical behaviours, communication, in addition to learning about Personal Development Planning and Brand Management.
Entry requirements
Applicants will be admitted to this learning programme based on one of the following minimum benchmark qualifications:
- Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) with 36 points and above including English language or equivalent.
- An appropriate Further Education and Training Certificate such as LCCI (Marketing Management) or equivalent.
- Any relevant qualification at NCQF Levels 5 or 6 may render the candidate eligible for exemptions or credit transfer in accordance with applicable University policies.
In addition to the above admission criteria, the following will also be considered:
- Relevant experience in the business sector.
- Employment experience.
- Prior learning
English language requirements:
For those whose first language is not English, it may be necessary to complete an English language test, such as IELTS (International English Language Testing System), PTE Academic (Pearson English language test) or our internal ELP Test, in order to demonstrate the language proficiency needed to complete a degree. All our courses are taught in English.
